Just another post!

Not a whole lot going on around here. Weather was finally nice this weekend so we did get outside to play for a while and then it turned all crummy again today so.....I got my mother's day present early by my choice. Brent seems pretty into games lately and has been at his computer ALOT..... I started playing on the PS2 but he couldn't play with me because his controller just stopped working completely. So again it was him on his computer and me playing by myself....BORING. Not me, just playing video games by yourself. Anyhow we ended up going to Toys R Us today and buying a WII. It is awesome. They had plenty in stock which was unusuall, most places have been out of stock since Christmas. We got a bundle deal that came with 2 wireless controller, 2 nunchucks, and 2 steering wheels for the new Mario Cart game and a few games. Well worth the price and now Brent and I can play together and eventually get Audrey involved. I did the boxing training for a while and man it was quite the work out. Look out nephews Auntie Sarah is going to get some practice in and start kicking your rears next time I come down!! Anyhow Brent and I have been having a blast all afternoon with it. We are talking about getting the WII Fit when it comes out so Brent can work out. Should be interesting.

Also come June we will be getting a new puppy. Brent seems to have taken claim to him already and informed me last night that he would like to name him Guiness. We will see about that. Afterall I do think I named Sassy for him, and he was highly opposed to that at the time, but oh so fitting now. Maybe Guiness will grow on me as a name. Here is a picture of the cute little guy, I can't wait to get him.
Not really much else going on. I guess for me there has...I have been volunteering to be on the Boys and Girls State Panel for the American Legion and have questioned over 50+ kids in the last week about themselves, and why they want to be chosen to go to Girls/Boys state and was asked by another post to go ahead and do it again on Monday. I am really enjoying it, especially since I am an alumni and I enjoy learning about today's youth and what they are doing for their community, plus I am able to give back to ours by helping. Also it gives Audrey and Brent more father daughter time.

I hope this post finds you all well. Congrats go out to Danica!! I love you sister. Have a good week and I will try to post some more later this week. Maybe pictures from our Disney/CA trip. xxoxoxooxoxoxoxoox

Audrey's Hair Ties

Audrey never seizes to amaze Brent and I. She really can make us laugh continually throughout the day and lately with her newest fetish, she has really been putting smiles on our faces. I noticed every time I went to get a hair tie of mine there were missing. Well I would find them all lined up on Audrey's wrists, proudly being displayed and moved from one hand to the next. She would kindly let me borrow one! So I invested in a rainbow pack of 50 of them at the dollar store. What a great investment. Hours of entertainment for all of us, fine motor skill development and not to mention the fashion statement she has made!! The hair ties go everywhere with us, she is very careful to take them off before meals, so she doesn't get them dirty, before baths and of course before bed. However immediately following meals, bath and waking up they are right back on her arms. She has mastered moving them from one to the other and they can be taken off in multiples but may not be put on more than one at a time. Also when she picks one up she can now get it on her wrist with just one hand. Brent and she have also made their own game up with them, which I hear added about another 1 or 2 of entertainment. He shoots them across the room, 1, 3, 5 or 15 (etc) at a time and she quickly and efficiently picks them all up, puts them on her arms and then arms him with more!
Anyhow the other afternoon while waiting for lunch to be ready she was telling us all about her new hair ties. Then she transferred them all to one arm and shouts, "Hair Ties Rock" We of course laughed and reassured her of her craziness, which we tend to adore.

I apologize for not posting since being home but the computer is slower than molasses and takes forever to upload pics then to edit and blah blah blah, hopefully I will have my other CPU back soon and I can blog away. Iknow you have all just missed it terribly, or maybe you haven't. We love you all and miss you. God Bless

At Ease

Whewwww, what a long two weeks, well 3 if you count all the happenings. Just a little update on what is going on. I know I have talked to most of ;you already on the phone but thought I should update this as well. We got our final number and confirmation from the insurance today. We are getting a final price of $3 short of 23,000 for our trailer. We are very happy with this price and it has come a long ways since the 12,300 first offered. Never settle for less in life when more is optional. This goes for everything. My new motto for today! Brent has found us a replacement trailer in Santa Rosa CA. We will packed up all our crap tomorrow into a tiny uhaul and head south. Hoping to make it to Santa Rosa by mid Wednesday. If you all are fortunate enough we may grace you with our presence briefly before going to get the trailer. We will see. Anyhow we are getting a brand new, plastic still on the carpet 2006 Tahoe. Dual slides, separate garage and tons of sleeping space! We are very excited about this. it is quite a bit longer than the old one but Im sure we can adjust!

We have been through alot of stress the last couple of weeks and are looking forward to it all being over with and to have a few weeks of enjoyment and business! Yes we are strange but business is going to be a great welcome, for numerous reasons.

We plan to have a great Easter spent with our families and celebrate all the wonderful birthdays for March and April. Two of which are Moms 50th and Debbie's 30th. Should be a great time had by all. We hope you all can join us. If you have questions call me.

I have included a picture of our new trailer. I will tell you after getting final word from insurance and the dealer today we are finally at ease with everything. Will be even more so once we have it in possession and all things loaded in it.

I hope this post finds everyone well and blessed. See all you californians soon!

Trailer

As most of you know, on our way out of town to CA we broke down with the trailer. Two broken shackles, a shifted axle, 2 blown out tires, 2 broken jacks and a severely cracked trailer frame, and some other damage to the trailer. This all happened Saturday night along Highway 3 by Bremerton. Long story short we are all ok and very thankful that the only damage there was, was on the trailer. It is all in the hands of the insurance agency now and we are just waiting to hear back from them. An appraiser was out to look at it and take pictures yesterday and he said in the 27 years he has been doing this he has never seen anything like it. The pictures do not do justice for the extent and amount of damage there is. Anyhow thought I would post a few pictures for you all to see. As soon as we know more as always we will be making phone calls. We have it completely emptied now and are waiting for the wrecking company to come and haul it away. The insurance is saying it will more than likely be totaled. Just keep us in your prayers and thoughts. Hope to see everyone in CA soon and safely.

I have lost 7 1/4 inches total so far....... 1 1/2 lbs and .5% body fat!!!

I was so excited when I left there. That is after just about 2 mos of going.

Rainy Dayz

Hello everyone! Wow it has been so long since I have posted on here. Seems like we have been on the go non-stop and getting ready to go again. Keeps us on our toes that is for sure. So we just got home from an extended stay in CA which was a blessing in disguise. Audrey and I got to spend plenty more time with our families, but at the same time I also got the flu and a cold or something. Overall we had a great time and got to spend lots of time with everyone this time.

Since being home we have been putting our lives together in a more focused manner and trying to put in place all the great things we learned from James Arthur Ray and achieve the intentions we have set. I think we are getting a good start! I am leading our Warrior Group from the convention and we hold conference calls every Sunday. It is a great thing for me and I truly enjoy doing it.

Today was a double achievement: 1. Courtney and I wanted to get Audrey and Ella out of the houses to play. 2. I needed to check out a facility in the area with a similar concept to what I want to do. We set out to Rainy Dayz in Gig Harbor about an hour away. It is an indoor play center. Very cute and simple set up and the girls had a blast. I got to ask tons of questions of the owners and check the entire facility out. It was really cool. So here are a few pictures from today.

Santa's Little Helper

Today we recieved a package from Auntie Arlene. Audrey was so darn excited she could hardly stand it. I thought she was going to attack the UPS man. So we brought it inside and she was even more estatic when she found out there was presents inside. So at first she did ask if she could open them, but then I told her it wasn't Christmas yet and she had to wait, she was ok with that. She then promptly told me we had to put them under the tree! I do love my little girl she is so great. She helped put them under the tree and said I needed to take pictures of her. Danica got to experience our adventure. Anyhow hope you guys enjoy the great pictures.

Post 222 all about 2 two year olds!

Yesterday was so much fun....While shopping at Central Market, I read their bulletin board and it said they were having gingerbread house decorating from 3-7 pm. I have been wanting to decorate a house with Audrey, but really didn't want the mess at home.

We have been conversing with a mother and daughter in our area online for quite some time and our schedules always seemed to be rather busy or we were out of town, kid got sick, etc and so yesterday we were finally able to meet in person. It was friendship at first sight.....We all gave big hugs and wonderful greetings. The girls got to decorate their gingerbread houses and we moms joined in on the fun. It was only $10 (the cost of the kit) and the store provided the icing and many, many extras to put on it. What a blast we all had. Audrey talked about Ella and the gingerbread house all the way home and waited up to tell her daddy about it on the phone. It was great. We can't wait to do more things with Courtney and Ella. Did I mention the girls are only 5 mos apart in age??!! Anyhow enough rambling Im sure you all just want to see pictures!

Waterfront Property or A River Runs Through it??

Snow in the morning down pours all night and all day the following day. So far last I watched on the news Bremerton (our area) got over 15 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. What was beautiful white ground before is now saturated, water covered muck! So we woke up this morning and couldn't decide if we now had waterfront property or A river that ran through our backyard...You decide!!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Winter is upon us and mother nature is letting us know, as is Audrey. We woke up this morning and it was snowing outside. So when Audrey got up we told her it was snowing. She promptly said, "Mom, want to get clothes on. We go outside and play in the snow." As she is running to her room stripping herself of her pj's and digging in her dresser for clothes, she is hollering at me to get out of bed, I am to go play with her in the snow and we are going to build a snowman together. How can you resist such a cute little girl wanting to play outside in the snow and build a snowman with her mommy. So I gather my warm clothes, boots, hat and gloves and she and I go out and begin to build yes a snowman. It really warmed my heart when without any one mentioning it to her, she wanted to build a snowman. In my 26 years of life I have never made a snowman... so this was quite the experience to have with my 2 year old daughter. She helped me make the balls, gather her arms and stick them in, gather rocks for her eyes, buttons and smile and place them on. It was wonderful and was a great start to the day. We also had a little snow ball fight. The best one ever!! How many people ask you to actually throw the snow at them? Well Audrey does, you throw one at her, she giggles and then tries to throw one at you. Then promptly says, "Mom it is your turn, you throw one at me!" Laughing histerically I gather a small snow ball and throw one at her! We had so much fun in the snow today.

Granny we are proud to say Ms. Snowman was accessorized courtesy of you!! Audrey was so estatic that the snowman she built got to wear her hat, scarf and a purse!!

A Package from Granny

A package from Granny and Auntie Debbie. Audrey was so excited to recieve this package and all the contents!

Granny has been busy making her some very pretty scarfs and purses. Audrey loves them and wears a different scarf everyday. She can't wait to put them on and when we get to where we are going she is very quick to tell everyone that her Granny made them for her! Thank you so much Granny for my accessories!

Of course she also has to where all of them when we are home. Granny also made a hat but it is a bit small for Audreys noggin'! So she uses it for her dollies and Minnie Mouse. She really is proud of the goodies Granny made her.

Oh and don't forget the treats from Auntie Debbie those were just as big a hit as the scarfs and purses. Debbie has got Audrey addicted to red vines and was so wonderful as to add a package of them in the box for Audrey. I too recieved treats but half my treats seemed to be missing when I opened the package. I guess they needed to try them before I did to make sure they were ok for me.

LOL Audrey is on the phone right now with Granny and Granny says, "Excuse me" and Audrey asked her if she Farted!! It was very funny. Anyhow have a great weekend guys and don't forget to hug and Thank a Veteran on Sunday!

Halloween

Halloween Costume: 29.99
Mickey ears: 9.95
Diamond Earrings: expensive
A Daddy's love: Priceless
Princess Audrey
"Cheese" Audrey getting ready to leave for trick or treating at the mall. All her props in hand!
Waiting for Cassi and Kati to get there. I put on my Mickey ears to wear and so of course she had to have hers on as well. It was really cute. Thank goodness her daddy picked out pink ears to match.

So she had a wonderful time trick or treating and loved getting more candy to put in her bucket from Auntie Lulu. She has become very good at negotiating as well. If there were two people handing out candy she would get one piece from one then ask if she could have another piece from the other person. It was quite cute. she even remembered her manners. Audrey has also learned how to win over daddy.
As we were headed to the last few stores we passed a jewerly store. She immediately stopped and told her daddy what pretty earrings those were and that she would like to have them. "Daddy earrings very pretty" and so he asks her if she was sure that is what she was pointing at and of course she made it very clear that is what she was looking at and that she would like to have them. Needless to say my two year old daughter has her Daddy wrapped around her little fingers and they will be under the tree for Christmas. It was priceless.

AFV Part 2 Meeting the Characters

Waiting in line to see the Characters..................Audrey discovers her diaper under her skirt and it has fuzzies on it. Strange Strange child.

Finally after I think an hour she got to meet Mickey Mouse. She really was excited.

Pluto being silly, there is a picture of her with Pluto but I think Luanne has it. She was not too sure about Pluto.

Wouldn't you know it I don't like Minnie, but my daughter loves her. Even came home with a Minnie stuffed toy and carries it everywhere!

Chip and Dale were being so goofy it was hard to get a picture. She wasn't too sure about them as well. By the end she was laughing with them.

AWW Goofy, dad's favorite Character. He did live up to his name!

While Brent went on Mission Space Luanne, Audrey and I waited in line to finally meet the "Mouse" it was well worth it.
