The Park

On Sunday we went to the park in East Bremerton to play. It was a gorgeous day just really hot. We got to 90!! Anyway this was Audrey's first time to a park. She had a blast on the swings. The slides were too hot for her to go down.

Jacob loved the park as well. There was plenty of things to crawl on and hide under!! We went back later in the evening with the McGuire kids and they played hide n seek. Jacob won, he knew all the good places, since he was just there.

It is a really nice park. We plan to take Audrey there often, especially when she starts walking.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and we will see all of you blistering hot Californians in a few days. Jake doesn't want to come back to the heat, but doesn't like the house at night!!

~Cousins~

Jacob is a Giants fan. His uncle Darren decked him out in Giants gear before he came to visit.
Audrey however is a Mariners fan. She was all decked out in pink Mariners clothes. This was the first major league ball game for both of them. The Mariners won both Saturday and Sunday. Pretty good games.
Audrey really likes playing and hanging out with her cousin Jake. Brent has also taught her how to stick out her tongue so that is what she does quite often now. If you tell her bye-bye, she says "dad, dad." Brent had a wonderful Father's day.

~My cousin Jake~

Just cuddling with Jake on his bed. Showing him my toes. He is good with me and loves playing with me.
I decided to scoot over to see my mommy and got stuck under the futon! Mom Im stuck why are you taking my picture!

Hamming it up for the camera

Cheese

A game of Yahtzee!!

Danica and Jake played Yahtzee as Audrey hammed it up for the camera!!

Danica won two games and Jake one.

Audrey enjoyed watching and trying to help.

My Auntie and cousin are here!!

After a 22 hour train ride, Danica and Jake finally arrived at midnight on Monday. Since Brent is out of town and Danica claims she needs a cozy bed, I let her sleep with me. Sassy woke up and saw Danica in bed and jumped right up there with us. She was smiling she was so happy. Sassy really misses Brent and doesn't like me at all when he is gone.

Audrey loved having her aunties attention and being able to pet Sassy. Jake was still snoozing away in the living room.

We are so happy they are here. Really enjoying the company. Tuesday they rested and we did grocery shopping. Today we hung out at home, as Danica was not feeling well. Jake went up the road and played with the neighbor boy for a while, and I got some work done.

Tomorrow we will go to Poulsbo and walk around. Have a good weekend planned as well.

Notice Audreys hair!!

All Smiles

I put the bow wrap thingy in her hair because when I put it on, some of her hair actually went over the top of it!!! Yeah.

Anyway she is getting so big and such a personality.

Yesterday was her yellow day. She is in her Dora outfit Great Grandma and Papa Cameron bought her.

Lots of loves to everyone.

All smiles

Sorry tried to post a new picture, but blog is having some issues right now. Will try again later.

Freedom

Freedom is not merely the opportunity to do as one pleases; neither is it merely the opportunity to choose between set alternatives. Freedom is first of all the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them-- and then, the opportunity to choose.
~C. Wright Mills

On May 31st Brent celebrated 2 years of freedom from the Navy.

While we were at the Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday there were several Bald Eagles flying about. We counted 4 in the time were were there and walked around a bit. The tide was out so they were fishing. It was really cool. This particular eagle was on this pillar and he let us get within about 5 feet of the pillar. Then he flew away. They were huge and beautiful.

I am hoping to get some pictures of Audrey this weekend. As I know I am going to get comments about it. Love to all.
