Sassy Kisses

Audrey and I were laying on the bed playing. I was trying to get Audrey to smile. Sassy wanted in on the action so she perched herself on the edge of the bed and gave Audrey a kiss. I thought it was so cute. Kind of shocked Audrey.


A milestone for Audrey. Last night she found out how to make her rattles go round and round on her aquarium that is in her cradle. It was about 4 am. She was so excited that she found out how they make noise. Today she also discovered how to grab hold of the fish on her swing. She is getting so big.

First Picture with Santa

Well I didn't get any pictures of her on her first Thanksgiving. As I was not feeling well and she was pretty much asleep the whole time. But...... Yesterday I did get a picture of her with Santa Claus. We went to the Festival of Trees with the McGuires. I didn't know they were having pictures with Santa or I would have dressed her more festive, but that is ok.

In the picture with her is her cousin Kati. From the time I told Kati I was pregnant she has told me that it is her baby. Brent and I are mommy and daddy but it is her baby. She loves Audrey to death and is very excited about her. She says she is going to grow big like Kati.

We also did our Black Friday shopping yesterday. Brent is so addicted to going. We got some really good deals. Audrey was very good for us while we shopped and bought way to much. But we did get alot of Christmas shopping out of the way.

Little one is starting to fuss. More to come another day. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Sleeping on the Job zzzzzz

This is what I do while mommy is working. She has my travel swing in the office and every once in a while pulls on the fish for me so I have music and lights. I sleep nice and cozy and have the rythym of her typing to help me sleep.

Blogged out

Ok now that Im all blogged out. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. It will be a few days before I post more since I posted so many tonight.

I really had a great time with my parents here as you can see. Audrey got so spoiled and Im glad she got to meet her granny and grandpa. It was such a blessing to have them here to help me.

Off to watch the Biggest Loser maybe it will inspire me to use my total gym that is in the living room and work off some inches!!!

Santa goes Diving

Dad just recently become a certified diver. All from the Glen Codora Fire Department.
He is often called Santa and plays Santa at different functions around the county.
I plan to send this to the newspaper for the article they are going to publish for a christmas festival.

Grandpa's Hands

Grandpa's hands were soft and kind when I was crying.

He would tell her it was a BS cry or just her temper and she would quiet down.

The Rocking Chair

Until my parents got here I had not used the glider rocker. It was in her room.

My mom pulled it out and Audrey loved to be rocked in it.

I love this picture of my mom. I think she looks so beautiful.

Pink PJ's

Granny and Audrey were camoflauged most mornings in their pink pj's. Every morning mom would come to my room and ask if Audrey was awake and fed so that she could hold her. Granny also helped put her to sleep at night. Most times though Audrey wanted mama at night. Which was a good feeling.

The Blue Dress

Grandpa couldn't take it any longer. Audrey had to have a blue dress. The whole time he was here she was in nothing but pink.

Left to right:

3. She was smiling for the camera. What a cutie. She loved hearing her Grandpa's voice and would look for him when he was talking. Thank you Grandpa for the blue dress.

My Granny and Grandpa spoiled me!

As soon as my parents got her we promptly went to Babies R Us and got lots of cool stuff for Audrey. One of which is this Baby Einstein Water gym. She loves it. It will also give her fun things to do for tummy time. She also got her first dolly from Granny. It is very soft and of course pink.

Audrey loves laying on the gym and watching the lights and listening to the music right now. She also loves to watch the yellow puffer fish. She is just starting to kind of reach for things. She realizes when she hits them with her hand that they move. It is so cute to watch her grow.

Of course I have many more photos to post but will do so tomorrow. Including pictures of Santa in a dive suit, pictures of Audrey being rocked by Granny and Grandpa and many more...... G'nite all.

Cooking with Granny

Audrey got her first lesson in cooking today with Granny. They made stufferoni. Audrey did more of the supervising than cooking. She really enjoys her Granny.

Right now mom is trying to put her to sleep and she lays her down and walks away, then Audrey starts crying. So Granny goes back in and rocks her more and tries it all over again. Can we say "Spoiled"?

Anyway it is way to late and Im going to try to get her to sleep and sleep a little myself. G'nite

Grandparents are here to spoil us!

My parents are here helping me take care of Audrey while Brent is away on business. And of course Sassy can't be left out of the action. Audrey is enjoying the attention as well. All though tonight she is very cranky. She loves to watch her grandparents. And when we picked them up from the airport, we went straight to the Baby's R Us where Granny promptly spoiled her rotten.

Granny and Grandpa come to visit!

Grandpa was holding Audrey and Sassy decided that she needed attention as well. You see usually when my parents come to visit Sassy gets all the attention and spoiled from my parents. This time it is a totaly different story. Sassy is having some difficulty understanding this.

Brent had to go out of town for a week for work. As well as his hotel is conviently right across from Disneyland. So, after 7 years he finally got to go again. I dropped him off at the airport on Saturday and about 45 minutes later my parents arrived. My parents were so great and come to visit during this week to help me out. The only time Audrey has been put down so far is when my mom goes to sleep. Audrey is the first girl grandchild, so my family is going nuts.

Sleeping bunny

Audrey slepted the whole time we were at the mall. It is great she sleeps through all the noise in the world, and it sure was loud in the Mall.

I just think she looked so cute as a bunny. I had sent an email to Brent at work with her first pictures and when he saw here that night at the mall, he said she looked even cuter in person. She is a daddy's girl.

Here grandparents will be here for the first time to see her on saturday. I will be sure to post pictures then.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween
For her first Halloween I wanted to put her in something simple. I was sitting on the bed getting her ready to go run some errands and trying to figure out what I was going to buy for her to wear, when I looked over and saw the bunny ears. In past years I have tried to put them on our basset hound, but it does not work. So I put them on Audrey and she looked so adorable.

We went to the Mall with Torey, Cindy, Mia and Cindy's mom. Mia was dressed as a Bumble Bee. The mall was crazy, tons of people Trick or Treating with their children. I think Mia had fun. Next year I will dress Audrey up more and take her Trick or Treating.

After that we went and visited with the McGuires. They love Audrey so much. She spent most the time with her Uncle Greg. He can't seem to get enough of her, it is so cute to watch him with her. Cassi also got to hold her for the first time. She has been asking for so long. Next time I will let her hold her longer. I think I will have her over this summer and help me with Audrey while I work. I think she will really like that.

Anyway, Im going to get some work done while Audrey is sleeping. More to come another day!
