Yesterday was so much fun....While shopping at Central Market, I read their bulletin board and it said they were having gingerbread house decorating from 3-7 pm. I have been wanting to decorate a house with Audrey, but really didn't want the mess at home.
We have been conversing with a mother and daughter in our area online for quite some time and our schedules always seemed to be rather busy or we were out of town, kid got sick, etc and so yesterday we were finally able to meet in person. It was friendship at first sight.....We all gave big hugs and wonderful greetings. The girls got to decorate their gingerbread houses and we moms joined in on the fun. It was only $10 (the cost of the kit) and the store provided the icing and many, many extras to put on it. What a blast we all had. Audrey talked about Ella and the gingerbread house all the way home and waited up to tell her daddy about it on the phone. It was great. We can't wait to do more things with Courtney and Ella. Did I mention the girls are only 5 mos apart in age??!! Anyhow enough rambling Im sure you all just want to see pictures!

I love these pictures! We had SO much fun...thank you again for inviting us! What a wonderful start to a friendship for you and I and Audrey and Ella :)
That looks like so much fun. Glad to hear that everyone had such a wonderful time. Audrey and Ella look like they both enjoyed the experience, hope they have a forever lasting friendship! I would like to make a gingerbread house... The last pic of Audrey looks like she is guilty of testing the candy before she put it on her house! :) Loves to all.
LOL! Audrey really does look a wee bit guilty in that one pic. Glad you and your new friends had such a good time. Adri and I have enjoyed years of gingerbread house making, hope this will be a fun tradition for you.
What a wonderful project and day! Audrey will be able to help Great Auntie decorate soon. I look forward to it! Love you lots.
How fun for you! I remember making a gingerbread house with Tyler last year in Kindergarten. It was a lot of fun. Glad you had the chance to do it with Audrey and make new friends.
