Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Winter is upon us and mother nature is letting us know, as is Audrey. We woke up this morning and it was snowing outside. So when Audrey got up we told her it was snowing. She promptly said, "Mom, want to get clothes on. We go outside and play in the snow." As she is running to her room stripping herself of her pj's and digging in her dresser for clothes, she is hollering at me to get out of bed, I am to go play with her in the snow and we are going to build a snowman together. How can you resist such a cute little girl wanting to play outside in the snow and build a snowman with her mommy. So I gather my warm clothes, boots, hat and gloves and she and I go out and begin to build yes a snowman. It really warmed my heart when without any one mentioning it to her, she wanted to build a snowman. In my 26 years of life I have never made a snowman... so this was quite the experience to have with my 2 year old daughter. She helped me make the balls, gather her arms and stick them in, gather rocks for her eyes, buttons and smile and place them on. It was wonderful and was a great start to the day. We also had a little snow ball fight. The best one ever!! How many people ask you to actually throw the snow at them? Well Audrey does, you throw one at her, she giggles and then tries to throw one at you. Then promptly says, "Mom it is your turn, you throw one at me!" Laughing histerically I gather a small snow ball and throw one at her! We had so much fun in the snow today.

Granny we are proud to say Ms. Snowman was accessorized courtesy of you!! Audrey was so estatic that the snowman she built got to wear her hat, scarf and a purse!!

You made the morning sound so wonderful! Almost made me wish I lived where there was snow (only almost). I am so happy you 2 had such a great time and how precious is that that she wanted you to throw snowballs at her? Love it! That is some snowwoman!!!!

What a wonderful picture and wonderful memory to have. I wish we could have gotten out and played in it before the rain came. I'm glad you guys got to take advantage of it.
