The pictures didnt turn out as great as I would have liked them to, but this will give you all an idea of what they look like and the size.
I have to laugh, I think it is so gross but yet so cool. These monsters can cause some pain. Not anymore, cause now I can carry them in a ziploc bag!!
This is for my cousin Jennifer. We are alot alike in some ways and this is one. We think it is so gross but want to inspect them and everything. To think it was in my body. Put the penny next to them so you can see the size.
I told my doctor I could make a necklace out of the ones he gave me. I will probably just keep these pictures and throw them away.
Anyway in a few days I will take more cute pictures of Audrey and post them so you don't have to look at the gallstones for so long.
Oh yeah and Anonymous: Does burlap come in pink? And wasn't knocking men for not sending presents, was knocking them for taking all the credit for picking them. When we all know the woman is sent to pick them out and then she signs the name of the spouse to include him!! That is love Baby!! I love you and thanks for taking care of me while I was ill. You are the best!!

A blooming Princess
After going thru the past few days, makes me love Audrey just that much more. What a joy and blessing she is to have.
My how much she is growing everyday. You can actually ("Well Actually...just for you A2) see her hair. This outfit she is wearing my boss and his wife sent her. Im sure it is the other way around, cause we all know how men are about sending presents, but you get the point! I think it is really cute and good for spring.
Today we both have doctor's appointments. I have my follow up and she has her 6 mos check up and shots. Brent has chosen to work later on Wednesdays. We will be a fun pair when he gets home!!
Counting down the days until we go to CA, 15 more to go.
I am feeling much better. Not as sore as yesterday. Everyday is a better one!
Loves to all, off to the Doctors for us.

Life's unexpected adventures!
Well I went from being up all night Wednesday, going to the doctor on Thursday morning to being admitted to the hospital Thursday night.
What I thought was just incredibly bad heartburn was actually gallstones and a bad gallbladder.
After having an Ultrasound done on my abdomen they determined it would be best for me to go in right away and remove my gallbladder, and all the stones that were there.
On Thursday night they admitted me, hooked me up to the IV's and some pain medications. Friday Midday they took me in and did a Lap chole. Five small incisions in my stomach and about an hour later, all had been removed.
I spent all night in the hospital and got to come home about midday on Saturday.
So far I am doing ok. Very soar and tired. I got to rest yesterday. Today I have been up and taking care of Audrey. For some reason Brent appears to be very tired and irritable. It is noon and he is still in bed. I just laid Audrey down for a nap and plan to go take one myself. Maybe take a shower first. I was told not to shower until 48 hours after, as they used glue to close my incisions. At this point I feel a little frustrated, dirty, soar and tired.
Anyhow, thank you all for your calls, prayers and love. I miss everyone and can't wait to come to CA for a visit. I am very thankful this is over with before I go though.
Loves ,
Sarah

Something to Do
When you are up at 3:30 in the morning you often wonder what can you do? Well I have already put 2 hours in for work. Yep still haven't' been to bed, have nasty heartburn, again. This time I had Mongolian BBQ. It was super delicious, and I have never gotten heartburn from it before. Well I did this time and it sucks. Anyway, have plays several and I mean several rounds of solitaire and cleared out my email on the 3 accounts I have.
Time to reflect:
It is now Thursday. This week has gone by pretty fast. Which hey I am all for that. It hasn't necessarily been a busy or bad week, just an indifferent week. For every week that goes by just brings us that much closer to Easter, and going to CA. I am quite excited about this if you couldn't tell. I can't wait for Audrey to meet all of the animals at the zoo!! Ooops I mean our family!! Sorry couldn't resist! 3am humor I guess. Really though, it is going to be a wonderful time and get together.
Brent is doing really well with work. He just got another ASQ (American Society of Quality) certification. I believe it is a national certification. So that is really cool. I am proud of him. One of his bosses got him a TODD Pacific jacket for doing so well. I am super jealous. They are nice. He met with the "DoughnutGang" this morning, which he hasn't taken the time to do in a long while. It is a car club (basically older guys that need a reason to meet for coffee every Wednesday and feel they have a purpose in life). He even has a jacket with his name embroidered on it! I think it is great and he really enjoys the group of men!
Audrey is still growing. She is due for her 6 mos check up. So when we go I will do a post on her progress. Im sure they will tell us she is still off the charts for her length. I have been informed it is length until they can walk or stand on their own then it is height (brent). Anyway, she is healthy, happy and spoiled. What a great combination.
The dogs, well they are still dogs. Sassy got in trouble alot last week. She was seeking attention. Harley, still enjoying life with the cat, outside. He loves that the sun is coming out more. He just bathes in it all day. Moves from spot to spot when it shifts!!
Me: taking care of Audrey, working and living life. I started doing the Biggest Loser workout video. It is a workout. Break a sweat, and man can my body feel it. Need to lose some weight and get in shape.
Now for one of my favorite poems:
Do More than Read,
Absorb.
Do More than Hear,
Listen.
Do More than Listen,
Understand.
Do More than Think,
Ponder.
Do More than Talk,
Say Something.
Do More than Exist,
Live.
Do More than Touch,
Feel.
Do more than Look,
Observe.
These are things that I live by in my life daily. Often times when I am having a bad day, hard time understanding Stupid people (mainly work related), or just need a reminder of the simple things in life, I read this and it gives me a little more juice to get thru the day.
Good Night

Audrey 6 months old

6 mos old already. My how time flies.
On Sunday she discovered how to make new faces and it would make her Daddy laugh. I was trying to capture them on camera yesterday but this is what I got instead.
She is becoming quite the little character.
The other picture is of her sitting on my lap. She likes to help me work, and if you couldn't already tell, she loves the
camera.

I am a Disney Baby

Audrey and Mickey
48 inches that is all we are asking for!! Well Brent anyhow. I just think it is a good idea, then we can take a family vacation to Disney Land. This is the life size Mickey I got in NY City. It is in her room. She likes the bright colors.
This kind of shows the excitement in her face when I went in her room to see what all the giggles were about. She was so proud of herself.
She had rolled all the way across her room to a box that was in her closet. She was kicking it, laughing and just a giggling. When I came to see what she was doing she was so proud. She started rolling over to come to me. Time to child proof her room completely.Look at Mickey just watching her enjoy herself.

Growing Baby
Sacked out again. She loves her play mat so much it wears her out everytime. I have noticed she likes to rub things on her nose to go to sleep. In this case it was one of the cloth animal books on the mat.
I got her the bear for Valentines day. It play a song and its cheeks light up. She snuggles with it and chews on the legs. She doesn't like her swing much anymore, but I got her to sit in it for a little bit yesterday. I just love the face she is making.

This was before she fell asleep playing. She really likes the colored flower hanging and the fish. The flower has a bee at the top of it that jitters and the petals of the flower crinkle. We take that with us everywhere.

Family Photos

After I put Audrey down tonight I got to do some scrapbooking.
I finished one project, a modified aol box for my friend Diana. she made one for me for pictures of Audrey and I made one for her for Tyler.
The theme of it was Tylers Trains. He loves trains and they often go on the weekends hunting for trains to watch.
The other project I did was make this 12x12 page of pictures from my baby shower in July.
I thought it actually turned out pretty cool. I used this new design layout template. Works pretty handy if I don't say so myself. You can turn it many different ways and get unlimited layout designs. Combine boxes and get another layout design. The things they have come up with.
You can't really tell from this picture, but I curled the flower petals and leaves to give them some demension. I will do some more tomorrow I hope. Also want to work on some pages from when we brought Audrey home and at the hospital. We'll see if Audrey naps long enough tomorrow.
Anyway hope everyone had a good weekend, I know we did. Today we went as a big family (dogs included), and ran errands. Got some more trees to plant and some flowers. Not to many flowers though, good chance it might still freeze here. Lunch and tons of money at Costco. Dang samples anyway.
Tomorrow Brent might get to go work on his bulldozer, if the guy is doing better. He is really excited and can't wait. Me, plan on some house work, play with Audrey and scrapbook if I can.
Love to all

From Sleepy Beauty to Teething Beast

I thought I would be nice and change her diaper before I fed her, since she just woke up from her nap. I was wrong. This is the other side of Audrey! We have been seeing a little more of this side lately, due to teething and battle of the wills.

Sleeping Beauty
I go in there with the laptop and work while she plays. She likes to roll over to me and tickle my toes.

Tyler and Audrey

On Monday Audrey and I went to Diana's to work. Yes your right again.
Diana and I really enjoy having some company. She gives me a little break with Audrey as well.
Anyhow, Tyler wanted to hold Audrey. She is almost as tall as he is. He is 4. I used to watch him at KinderCare.
And yes she is getting a belly. Trying to look more like her Daddy!! I think that skirt looked so cute on her. Brent said it was just a little short. Well at least he is going to be a protective Daddy.
Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. Audrey is teething and is super fussy most of the time. Next time she is in one of her moods I will capture a picture and put it on here.
Have a good night all.
