Last night Uncle Pete made his travels to heaven. So I thought I would post these pictures for all to see. Audrey got the pleasure of meeting him back in July of this year. As we were leaving she said "bye, bye" to him. That was the first time she had ever said it. What a blessing. He went to school and grew up with my great grandmother. A wonderfully delightful man to be around. We will miss you Uncle Pete, God Bless.

Winter Wonderland
how much was falling.

On Sunday Brent and I changed the oil in my quad. Then Audrey got up from her nap and she wanted to sit on the quad with her Daddy. It was too wet and cold to give her a ride. Maybe another day. She so loves the 4 wheelers!!

On Sunday we also had to brave the weather to get a few groceries. This was on the drive home from Poulsbo. I just love driving in the snow and seeing it on the Evergreen trees. What a beautiful site mothernature has created!!

I have a belly button
If I just lift up my shirt, I have discovered this fascinating thing on my belly.

I have a belly button and I like to poke it!!
On Wednesday night Brent was playing Christmas music on his new speakers he picked up at an Estate sale for dirt cheap. Anyhow, while hooking them up Audrey was in the living room helping her daddy. Well she stood up on her own and took 5 steps!! We were both right there and so very excited. A2 was on the phone. Then she promptly fell and started crying. I think it startled her that she actually took steps on her own. She then proceeded to get up and dance for about a half hour with Brent. It was such a magical and cute moment. She was having so much fun. I did get a few steps on video and of them dancing. Audrey is gaining more confidence and trying to walk more by herself around the house.
She was playing in her room yesterday while we re-arranged the living room and we heard her giggling so we went to investigate. She has her arms full of blankets and clothes and was walking the length of her room, just so happy with herself. Then she came out in the hallway and proceeded to sort the shoes into various piles!! Can we say type A personality?
Anyway, off to change the oil in my bike so I can go play in the snow. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know we did.

Let It Snow!
When Brent got up this morning, he hollared at me to come to the front door. When he opened it this is what was outside. At least an inch of snow and it is sticking. We are going to take Audrey out to play in it after her nap. Also ride our quads in it. It is very early for snow but we think it is cool. I know we are crazy but we actually miss the snow.

Dress Up

Often when I go into Audrey's room to check on her she has taken her robes, sweaters and such off the hooks an is playing with them. She loves to sort and try to put them on. It is really cute to watch.

So the question I haven't asked in a long while......Who does she look like now?
She is getting so big and heavy. Loves to take things out of wherever and put them back in. Or to just sort things. She is very meticulus about this process. It is quite cute and interesting to watch her.
We also went to a Suquamish Tribe Veterans Day ceremony. At first she was kind of scared by the music, but the quickly started to like it and wanted to dance. The other day I noticed when she liked some music she would swing her hands/arms back and forth out in front of her. Didn't know where she was getting it from. Well we discovered the other day this duck that A2 got her long ago (sings raindrops falling on my head) sways his arms out in front of him while singing. Audrey now does this when she hears music and likes it!! It is so adorable. She really loves that duck. Finally had to replace the batteries in it. Totally appropriate for Washington weather as well. We listen to it several times a day and I think she is finally understanding how to make it start singing and dancing. She is getting to be very busy and keep up on our toes.

Finally...........Protest is over!!
This one is on here mor or less to show the car. They had her lift her shirt so the belly wouldn't blend with the car!!

Seems wierd to see Danica in a maternity shirt, but I must say she looks good. Now she should be in bed resting, not out shopping!! We all love you Danica and Darren.

Danica also went out after she met with Debbie and Carol and bought herself some overalls. Darren was very much excited about this. I will leave the rest for Danica to share.
Danica is lucky Carol and Debbie love me. I finally got pictures of Danica. So I will post them on here for all to see. Then in the next day or so I will be sure to post new ones of Audrey. Las Vegas is on will post when it is over................................

Veterans Day
I had to use this picture again because it just brings back the greatest memories of Grandma June. And of course it is a picture with her pride and joy.
Have you said Thank you to a veteran yet this year? Sometimes that is all they need to hear is a Thank you. Or to simply ask how their day is going? Lend them an ear sometime you will be surprised how wonderful their stories can be!!
Love to all!!

A page by Luanne

Yesterday Luanne and I shared some of our hidden talents while chatting online. Then she showed me this page she made of Audrey. I loved it so much I asked if I could put it on her blog and showcase it for all to see. Luanne is such an awesome person and very talented. love the creativity of using Audrey reaching for the pumpkin to make the "A" in Fall. Then creating pumpkins out of the pictures. Luanne has made tons of scrapbooks and all her work is awesome. This is just one of my favorites. I just wish we lived closer so we could scrapbook together. Thank you Luanne for being such a wonderful, terrific, awesome, creative.....I could go on for days...........friend. XOXOXO

It worked!!
I finally got Debbie to leave a comment on the blog. So to reward those who rarely comment and finally have I will post a picture of Audrey!!
By the way Brent made it
home safely last night! We sure are happy to have
him home.
We went trick or treating with the McGuires, as it was too late to make it to Poulsbo (long story). So we went around their neighborhood. Audrey said 'hi" to everyone who answered the door. She did get a few pieces of candy. They would just put it on her chicken belly!! It was so cold out I made sure I put gloves on her hands. Well they didn't have finger slots so Audrey couldn't get ahold of the candy!! She was very good and just let it sit there and a few times she tried to get it but couldn't. All and all it was an ok Halloween. We at least got out of the house and enjoyed the fresh crisp fall air.
