Saturday was such a beautiful day here.
So while Audrey napped in her bouncy chair on the tailgate of Brents truck, we used our front yard as a track!!
The white one is Brents and the blue mine!!
We had so much fun together.
Audrey slept through all the noise!! Good baby.

A Mommies love

Everyday around 3:30 or 4 pm Audrey has a melt down. She has had enough of playing in her swing, sitting on my lap, playing with her gym and napping.
On Thursday the meltdown came at 3pm. A little early so I picked her up and held her while I left my final notes for work.
This picture is the result of that. She made it through the melt down and was out for the count. She even slept through me hooking the camera up to the computer after I took the picture.
I also managed earlier in the day to get some really cute pictures of her in the valentines pj's. Thank you all for leaving comments about her.
I love to hear your responses and hope that this gives you a pretty good idea of how much she is growing and changing in her looks everyday. I think it is hiliarious how many people say she looks like her daddy. I see us both in her, but she does have more of Brents features. Guess it wasn't the UPS man after all. (haha, inside joke) I don't like our mail man, but the UPS man is cute!!
Anyway it is well after midnight and I am up with bad heartburn again. Stupid me.....Last time I had an ice cream cone and was up all night. Didn't get to bed until 6 am. And here I sit. I had a milkshake. I won't be doing that anymore. I guess Ice Cream is off limits to me from now on. :( I think there might be a slight chance I am lactose intolerent.
So as most of you know, we are going to CA ( I still call it home, even though we are now residents of WA) in April. I can not wait. As much as I hate driving (well I ride (sleep) and Brent does all the driving) the 10-11 hours to get there. I am really excited for everyone to finally get to meet Audrey. I think it is very important for Audrey to know her family. So we are going to make the hike, down through the mountains, several valleys and a very long stretch of I-5 to come and see all you all. I got that from South Carolina.
I hope everyone is ready to see Brent and I with the bonus of seeing Audrey!!!! I thought it was funny. We all know that Brent and I are no longer important. We are simply Audrey's parents. Which hey that is fine. Everyone can Ewww (in a good way) and AHhhhhhh over her, but just remember we are the ones that created that very beautiful little girl!! I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you soon.
Love to all. I am off to find something else to do. Maybe this will go away soon and I can get some sleep before Audrey is awake again.

Bum deal the Seahawks Lost
The Seahawks got robbed. But you know what, we will be back next year and this time we will win. Just have to start somewhere. As you can tell I thought Audrey looked exceptionally cute in her Seahawks clothes. I had to put jeans on her that had flowers, that way she didn't look 100% boy.

Go SeaHawks!!!
Audrey loves to watch football. She of course will be rooting for the Seattle Seahawks!!

JumperRoo
Today I put together Audrey's JumperRoo. She wasn't quite sure what was happening or what to think of it.
She liked it as long as I was helping her jump. I think a couple more times of being in it, she will get the hang of it and start jumping on her own.
Look at those ears!! Her daddy always talks about her ears sticking out.
Also taking a poll. Since this is a good close up of her.
Who does she most look like, myself or Brent?
I thought it was cut how her shoulders are just level with the top of the seat. She still has room to grow.
She could reach the toys, but she found it more entertaining to chew on the seat. That has been her newest thing, she must chew on everything.
The bottom picture is of her looking at the toys wonder how they just turn on when the JumperRoo moves.

What a crummy day

Today started out crummy and ended crummy.
I am having issues with work (what else is new). Audrey had her 4 mos check up and shots.
I was cranky and then she got cranky and of course Brent got cranky.
Audrey weighs 12lbs 10oz now. In the 20th percentile for her age on weight. She is 25 3/4 in., 90th percentile for her age. hmmm go figure. Maybe she will make 48 inches before we know it. Youngest kid to be able to go on all the rides at Disneyland!!!
Anyway she is healthy and strong. That is all that matters. Dr. kind of gave us the dirty look about feeding her cereal. And told us to wait on introducing vegetables until she is 6mos old. Ok sure.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I don't know if I can take much more of this crap. Starts to wear a person thin after a while. Hey maybe that isn't such a bad thing, I could stand to loose a few more pounds!!!
Sorry no pictures tonight. Don't think you want to see ones of her screaming, not such a pretty sight.
Alright off to bed for me. Love all and miss all.
Oh there was two highlights of today:
1. My cousin Jennifer sent me DVD's of my Paternal Grandmothers family telling about there lives. It was great. I don't know much about them, or I don't remember much. So it was great to sit and watch them. Audrey watched as well.. She loves to hear people talk. So I was telling her who each person was. Hopefully someday she will get to meet them all.
2. My friend Diana surprised me with a wood box she altered into a photo album for Audrey's pictures. She is so thoughtful. I am happy to have her as a friend. Thank you Diana. In the hardest times during the day you help to make my day better and go by faster. Thank you!!!

For Granny and Auntie A2

I was playing in my pack n play with all my stuffed animals. I chewed on my dolly from Granny and gave my Ox (??) from Auntie, a bald spot on his butt.
I have wait to play with it until I am much older though. I had his hair everywhere and it was getting in my mouth. Upon reflection I don't think Ox hair taste so good. I will just admire him with my eyes.
xoxoxo

Chew toy!
Tonight while mommy was fixing dinner she put me in my "intellitainer" a glorified exersaucer. Well since I am not quite tall enough to touch the floor yet, I stay in one spot. I can grab the toys in front of me. I really like the bell, not only does it make noises, but it tastes real good. I decided to suck on it instead of play with it.
I took this picture of Audrey. She was concentrating so hard on sucking on this bell she didn't even know I was taking a picture of her. She really does enjoy sitting in this for a while. I think she doesn't like her legs dangling for long though. Eventually she will be able to spin in the sit and do all the different things it can do and to walk back and forth with it.
She also has a Jumper Roo (a modified johnny jump up, for all you old folks!!) I am going to put that together this weekend.
Anyway it is almost midnight. Off to bed for me. Miss you all.
For the record, she is starting to get some hair!! Not a lot but there is some definite peach fuzz!!

Yellow poka dot bikini.... Not in WA weather....We'll settle for Yellow Rain suit!!
Just for you Auntie Danica!!
I even had a yellow Binkie to match my yellow outfit.
It really fits her well. The pants are almost too short for her now. I take her next week for her 4 mos check up.

Happy Birthday Brent

Saturday was Brent's Birthday.
We started the celebration on Friday evening at Puerto Villarta in Port Orchard.
I tried to surprise Brent with a bunch of his friends. But as you all know that is very hard to do and maybe some year I will succeed. Not this year though. There was about 20 of us there.
We then went to the movies. Brent got to finally see Underworld: Evolution. He has been telling me all week that it was coming out on Friday so we went to see it. We got home about 1 am after picking Audrey up. She got to stay with Carl and Nirmala for the evening.
We then got up at 530 on Saturday morning and headed up to Crystal mountain. Brent and Cassi went skiing together, while Audrey and myelf stayed in the Lodge. This was Audrey's first ski trip. It was such a beautiful day. The scenery on the way up was gorgeous. I really miss traveling like we did in NY and seeing all the wonderful things Mother Nature has to show us. Maybe once Audrey gets older we can travel more.
On Sunday of course we slept in after having two long days and nights of entertainment. It was a beautiful day here. Not to cold and sunny for the most part. Brent and I worked outside, while Audrey napped. It was great. He put siding up on the pump house shed and I cleaned my car out. It was long over due. Both look much better now. Then we watched the last half of the SeaHawks game. We are going to the SuperBowl. Go SeaHawks!!!!!
Anyway off to put away Brents slacks and go to bed. G'nite

Mmmmm Food!
Audrey at almost 4 mos. She will be on the 20th. I just can't believe my eyes.
After a few days of her "Cat napping", I decided it was time I tried giving her Rice Cereal. On Friday the 13th (Ironically), not aware of the date at the time, she tried it. It was a big hit and the solution to the problem. She gets cereal at her afternoon feeding and before bed. I can't spoon it in fast enough!
If you look back in the archives you will see a picture of her in a blue dress in this same chair. Compare the two. My how she has grown. Yes, when she is sitting up in it her feet dangle off the end. We have a tall baby. I will schedule her 4 month check up next week.
Don't forget Brents birthday is on the 21st!!

4 Wheeling
Ok I know I have been saying for days now that I would post a picture of my Christmas present. Well I have yet to do that. For two reasons: 1. It has been raining constantly 2. I haven't had a real chance to get out and ride.
Well tomorrow Im getting that chance. Uncle Greg and Aunt Chris are going to watch Princess. Brent and I are going to go riding with Torey. I can't wait.
So, I will bring my camera with me and have Brent take a picture of me on my new toy.
Have a good night all and I hope you enjoy viewing Audrey's blogspot. I know I love reading your comments keep them coming! (Aunt Arlene, as soon as I can get ahold of you I will let you know how you can leave comments)

More of the Peas in a Pod
Brent and Auntie Arlene at the Rain Forest Cafe.
We got to sit right next to the fountain. This picture was taken when the mist was going. We celebrated Aunties birthday which by the way was on January 6th. Happy Birthday. We love you.
We tried calling her but her phone is all messed up and couldn't get thru.
These two were a crack up. Auntie loves to here Brent do the Robin Williams take on Golf. It was so nice to hear her laughing and having such a great time. Brent really misses having her around.
We look forward to her teaching A2two how to drink milk out of a licorice straw and put olives on her fingers!
Brent posing for the camera!

We love you Auntie Arlene

This was taken on December 27, 2005. The day Auntie left to go back to CA. We stopped by PSNS so that she could see the submarines and old ships. We also stopped in the parking lot and took pictures of all of us. It actually stopped raining long enough to get some pictures outside. I am still waiting to see how the ones she took have turned out.

Auntie comes to town!
Meet Auntie Arlene a.k.a A2 (squared) and A2two (A squared two)!! We had the joy of having Auntie Arlene here for Christmas.
I know, I put to be continued in regards to my Christmas presents, but I have yet to take a picture of my new toy......... I finally got a 4 wheeler after 6 years of asking. Thank you honey!
It was the best Christmas so far. I'm sure there are many more to follow.
Anyway, Aunties visit: She arrived on the 22nd and left on the 27th. We think it was too short a trip, but greatly enjoyed the time while she was here. Let's just hope she had a terrific time as well.
Audrey got spoiled with Auntie loves and wisdom. We got spoiled with "Jim"! Jim, you see, is the Incredible lobster tail we had for dinner. Oh boy was he good. Sorry I didn't get pictures of Jim. If you would like to see a distant cousin of Jim or maybe a brother, you can go to Pikes Place Market in Seattle and perhaps you will see something close to "Jim".
We did many other things as well, including learning how to make the candies she is famous for. She and Brent went on a wild goose chase for a candy thermometer. I took her to a couple different quilt shops up here. She got a tour of Port Townsend, although it was not the official tour given by Cindy. Brent missed the Monkey Tree. I however have a picture of it on my computer. Isn't the same as seeing it in life.
Then to finish it off we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in SouthCenter. That was a blast. We ate entirely too much food and had a "Volcano" for dessert. The atmosphere it wonderful. If you have never been to one I highly suggest doing so. Brent and I have been to one in Chicago, and one in Niagra Falls.
Anyway, I could go on for days. I will instead post more pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Our First Christmas
Next we got to open presents. Auntie Arlene kept saying "You Guys!" She told us we didn't have to spoil her. It was great! Audrey got lots of toys. Thank you everyone. She will enjoy playing with them. Brent got most everything he wanted (he usually picks out his presents the day after Thanksgiving). I just wrap them and put who they are from!!! And of course, I got really cool stuff as well, espcially my new ring from my hubby.
Then we went to breakfast at Sharis. It was quite nice not to fix breakfast, but to just sit down and enjoy it. We all of sudden realized it was 1030 and we had to leave for church. Only to realize the service started at 11:15 and not 11. Oh well we sat and chatted for a while.
We then went to Mike and Velmas for Christmas lunch.............Where I got my next greatest gift of all......................................I will leave you in suspense. Time to shower and finish getting ready we are having the McGuires over for ham dinner. Auntie leaves tomorrow we are so sad. :(
To be continued..............

American Legion Post 245

On Thursday we went to the American Legion Post 245 Christmas meeting. It was great. The men got up and sang Christmas Carols. Well......I guess you would call that singing!!! It was a class act!
The picture with 4 in it.... from left to right Jerry (Post Commander), Brent (1st Vice Commander), Bob (District Vice Commander), and Vic (Post Adjutant ). Then there is a picture of Bob and Jerry. Also one of Vic and Brent. They were quite the quartet!
We had a great time. They served pizza, salads and cake for dessert.
Then there was a guest speaker from one of the Elementary schools, that puts on an annual Veterans Day Assembley. She has spoken for the past 3 years at our Christmas Parties.
Anyway off to prepare Audrey's room some more. Yes it still isn't done. I need to finish it so that she can eventually sleep in there. And Auntie A can store her clothes in there and sleep in there if she would like.

Merry Christmas to all. Hope everyone is getting into the "Christmas" spirit. I know we most certainly are around our house.
The picture of Audrey and myself was taken at the American Legion Christmas Party. We had a great time and she was gooed and gahed over. I think she just looks so pretty in her Christmas dress. And of course she is getting plenty of chances to wear it.
The next picture is of Audrey with her Grandma Velma. Just one of her many grandparents. Velma is our good friends mom. We plan to spend Christmas afternoon at their house. It has become our adoptive family. They have been so great to us and we really love being a part of the family. Thank you to the McGuires (Bremerton and Las Vegas) And to the Farrar's. We love you guys.
Merry Christmas to all. Love Brent, Sarah, Audrey and all the animals!

Bath time Baby
This is how big she is getting. Today she had a major accident so she got an early bath. Usually I wait until before bed, so that she will sleep better. She loves her bath time. I think she just looks so cute. Of course that is because I am mom, but still she is cute!
Well she and Brent are fast asleep, I suppose since it is 11:15 I should join them. Have a great night. Hope all of you enjoy my new updates. I plan to get tons more at Christmas. Especially with Aunt A coming to town.

Reindeer Bottom

Her Granny bought her this cute outfit while she was here, and now that it is Christmas time she gets to wear it.
I just think it is so adorable. She wore it to the Victorian Country Christmas and we got lots of cute comments about her and the outfit.
She is getting so big.
When I took her last week to get her shots she was 10lbs 6oz and 23 3/4 inches. The doctor said she was off the charts for her height. She even went to the extent of measuring her several times to make sure. She gets it from Brent who is 6'4". But of course she gets the good looks from me!!!

Happy Baby

On Sunday Brent had a meeting to attend for the Legion. So Audrey and I hung out in the pick up waiting and waiting and waiting some more for daddy.
We were playing and having a great time. I was able to capture her beautiful smile on camera finally!
She has got her daddy's dimples and they are so precious, and will also give her away when she is older. They always give Brent away.

Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Today we got our first dusting of snow. It looked so pretty outside. I was bummed I didn't get to go out and play in it! Yes that's right I love the snow. So does Sassy. Too bad it is already melting. I think we will get more though.

Pappy this one is for you! I know you loved the picture of her with the bunny ears. So this is right up there with it. It also comes with a white hat that has ears on it and a nose. Kind of like the butt of the outfit!!!! She looked so cute and was nice and warm all day. The things we dress our kids in!!!
