Our First Christmas

Christmas Day
Merry Christmas to All. We hope that you had a Merry Christmas and that you were able to enjoy family and friends.

We most certainly did. We started off our day with a huge wind storm. At 6:30 am we were woken up by a tree fallen in the forest behind us. After making sure the vehicles were fine we crawled back in bed. The got up at around 730 to start showering, as we weren't sure we would have power. The power kept flickering on and off.

Next we got to open presents. Auntie Arlene kept saying "You Guys!" She told us we didn't have to spoil her. It was great! Audrey got lots of toys. Thank you everyone. She will enjoy playing with them. Brent got most everything he wanted (he usually picks out his presents the day after Thanksgiving). I just wrap them and put who they are from!!! And of course, I got really cool stuff as well, espcially my new ring from my hubby.

Then we went to breakfast at Sharis. It was quite nice not to fix breakfast, but to just sit down and enjoy it. We all of sudden realized it was 1030 and we had to leave for church. Only to realize the service started at 11:15 and not 11. Oh well we sat and chatted for a while.

We then went to Mike and Velmas for Christmas lunch.............Where I got my next greatest gift of all......................................I will leave you in suspense. Time to shower and finish getting ready we are having the McGuires over for ham dinner. Auntie leaves tomorrow we are so sad. :(

To be continued..............
