Life's unexpected adventures!

Well I went from being up all night Wednesday, going to the doctor on Thursday morning to being admitted to the hospital Thursday night.

What I thought was just incredibly bad heartburn was actually gallstones and a bad gallbladder.

After having an Ultrasound done on my abdomen they determined it would be best for me to go in right away and remove my gallbladder, and all the stones that were there.

On Thursday night they admitted me, hooked me up to the IV's and some pain medications. Friday Midday they took me in and did a Lap chole. Five small incisions in my stomach and about an hour later, all had been removed.

I spent all night in the hospital and got to come home about midday on Saturday.

So far I am doing ok. Very soar and tired. I got to rest yesterday. Today I have been up and taking care of Audrey. For some reason Brent appears to be very tired and irritable. It is noon and he is still in bed. I just laid Audrey down for a nap and plan to go take one myself. Maybe take a shower first. I was told not to shower until 48 hours after, as they used glue to close my incisions. At this point I feel a little frustrated, dirty, soar and tired.

Anyhow, thank you all for your calls, prayers and love. I miss everyone and can't wait to come to CA for a visit. I am very thankful this is over with before I go though.

Loves ,
Sarah

I am glad you are doing well. It helped to hear your voice. Gee, I can't imagine why Brent would be tired and irritable. There is no way it has to do with taking care of a 6 month old baby. Don't you do that daily and still get 35 hrs of work in and a meal or two cooked?

I'm glad you're doing better. I have to agree with Luannes' statement about Brent being tired. Men can be such babies themselves. God forbid they have to do any real work! ;-)

Luanne, if she got a meal or two cooked regularly, I'd weigh even more.
