Uncle D's and Auntie Danica's House

Danica and Darren picked us up from the airport. After a not so pleasant trip to Colusa and a couple hours of recovery at Brents dads house, Audrey and I spent the night at Darren and Danica's. Must say their bed is quite cozy. Big enough for 3 people to sleep very comfortably. We got to bed pretty late and so we also slept in. Well we were up at 7 am because Audrey was hungry. While Darren went to return his mom's car, us girls napped.

After getting ready and such the girls went and did our shopping and Darren mended fences with his dad. Danica took Audrey on a wagon ride and to see the goats. She didn't quite know what to think of them.
Danica's dog and cat were a little bothered by Audrey and the amount of attention she was getting from Danica and Darren but they were good and let Audrey touch them. We made sure Bozie got his usual treats and loves. He too got to sleep in the bed!! Anyhow I had a great day with my Lil' sis and loved staying at their house. Thank you so much Danica and Darren, We love you guys!!

CA girl at Heart!!

Audrey loves Avacados. So I often cut a half of one up for her and let her eat it. As you can see she loves it and to get it all over her face and hands. Suprisingly she did not get it on her outfit. Afterward she got a bath!! Which as you can see she loved that too. We pretty much have her on all table foods now. This kid can eat!! Not to hot on vegetables right now but loves the fruit.

I have been trying for days to capture this picture. I Got it!!

Tall, Cute and Pouty

The pictures in purple were taken a few days ago. But it really shows how much she is growing.

Today she had her 9/10 mos check up. A little late. She is a wopping 16.5 lbs and 29 inches long. We switched her to our family practice doctor and he says is she normally this low in her weight for her height and age? Yes, Yes she is. He said she looked Happy and healthy so it was ok.


She has started pulling herself up on things quite a bit. She even walks along them with proper motivation!! She is trying to stand up on her own from sitting down but is still a bit top heavy and has realized she has some really long legs!!

The bottom picture is of her watching her Daddy mow the lawn. She was all sorts of excited to watch him. She was waving to him and saying "dad dad" but her window was closed. Then he came up to it and knocked and she started laughing. He also brought a garden snake to the window for her to see. She thought that was pretty cool. My child with no fears.

Anyhow, back to work. Love and kisses to all.

Getting BIG

The one of with the red hat on, is while at Magic Kingdom and we were trying the hat on her over her sun bonnet. We thought she looked cute. I bought her the red hat, but now she doesn't like to where it!! Probably because it has Minnie on it!! That is just my guess anyway.

Our little fish....

While in Orlando we took Audrey swimming in the pool at the hotel. She just loves the water. Just like her daddy. She thought it was even better that when she got out of the pool she got to go in the tub and play in the water some more.

During the whole trip Audrey really enjoyed spending quality time with her daddy. So the other picture is of she and Daddy enjoying morning coffee before Magic Kingdom!!

Epcot

Sorry it has taken me so long to post again, been busy. Anyhow....

The first park we went to was Epcot. We bought a new stroller while there and assembled it in the parking lot. While putting it together Rick and Luanne snuck up on us and scared both of us. Then it proceeded to down pour. We quickly sought cover in a pavilion not to far away. Finished putting it together then waited for the down pour to stop. It lasted maybe 10 minutes not to bad. You can see in the back ground of the stroller picture it is grey skies. Then in the Epcot Ball picture it is blue skies again. Welcome to weather in the south!!
I hear it was quite a treat to have Rick join us in the park!! I am glad he did it was great to enjoy his company for the day. Thanks Rick. After seeing the different things around the park, we went to the different countries within Epcot. This is where Brent mysteriously found two blonde girls, while walking around with Audrey. They were from Norway. They did come back and get me (thank God) and we got a personal boat ride with them. Learned about them and their country. Audrey and Brent were highly fascinated. One of them gave Audrey her first souvenir, a collectors pin of the Princesses. We thought that was sweet. We continued to tour the countries and then Went to get in line with our fast passes for Soarin.

That ride was great. You are in a hang glider simulator thingy and soar over CA. They mist in different smells and such. It is really cool.

After a very hot and long day we call it quits. The three of us went on an hours detour searching for a restaraunt only couldn't find it and wound up at a Sizzler, Luanne and Rick went home and crashed. All and all it was a great day.

Auntie Lu Lu

Audrey had so much fun with Luanne. We will call her Auntie Lu Lu. She is definitely worthy of being an aunt. There was little debate about whether it should be Grandma or Auntie, we went with Auntie!! Every morning Audrey would just light up when she arrived. Went right to her and was content. She especially liked when Auntie Lu Lu would share her "special" cookies with her. Audrey would go to great lengths to get to them!! Speaking of I could not find them at the grocery today. :( Audrey won't eat the other ones now!! Can't wait to vacation and hang out again. Wish we lived closer, we could build our friendship even more so. Luanne and her family are originally from CA. So maybe some day in the future they will move back to the west coast.

Orlando

What a truly Awesome Vacation. Above is Brent and Audrey talking and enjoying each other while on the Ferry ride over to Seattle. Where we then carried all that luggage and Audrey 4 blocks to catch the bus to the airport. The journey has begun. After Audrey not sleeping and Brent and I keeping her occupied in the back of the plane we finally arrived in Orlando. Had issues with one Car rental company and got it figured out with Thrifty then we were on our way to Luannes. What a wonderful person. If most of you have looked at her blog you know what happened from there so I won't bore you with it again. I am just truly thankful for Luanne and her family and there great hospitality and welcoming arms!!

The other picture is one we took when we arrived on Walt Disney World Resorts land. Reminded me of Brent driving!! (yes Luanne got to experience that as well) Got to love him!!

Anyway I will try to post more. Loves to all. (can you tell I'm tired?!)

Weary Travelers~Home Sweet Home

Well we have arrived safely at home, just extremely tired.
Thank you Luanne and Family for such an awesome and amazing vacation. You made our vacation so wonderful. We can't thank you enough. We miss you guys already and can't wait to do it again. Only next time it will be Spring or Fall.

Anyhow I have many, many pictures to post. I will hopefully get to it within the next few days for all you anxious peoples!! We love you all and miss you as well.

10 months old Today

I picture of me at 10 mos and a picture of my daddy at 10 mos. Aren't we cute. I can now pull myself up in my crib. Daddy taught me how last weekend. I also pulled myself over the step going into the kitchen from the living room last night. I really wanted to get to my mommy. I didn't fall or anything. They were so proud of me.

Tomorrow we leave on our vacation to Florida. Wish mommy and daddy luck with flying with me. I will do great, they just dont' know it yet!! Loves to everyone and we will post pictures of Luanne and Disney World when we get back.

Daddy's Little Girl

Today after Daddy got home and I woke up from my nap, all I wanted to do was be with my Daddy. He took me for a ride around our front yard on his quad and we worked on a part for Gunner. He tried to hand me to mom several times and I refused. The quad ride was so much fun. I laughed the whole time. Then I got to pretend I was driving it too. Next year he is going to buy me a pink helmet and pink riding gear so that I can go on short rides with he and mommy. I can't wait. Dirt here we come. Thanks Daddy for spending the afternoon with me!!

Is it time for bed yet

On Sunday we had a pretty long day. We went to the Bainbridge Island Garden tours and then went to dinner with the McG's for Kati and Mike's birthday's. By the time we got home she was more than ready to go to bed. She did not nap but maybe a half hour all day. She just keeps going and going and going......

Chillin' Uncle Blake style!

I did really well with Uncle Blake. On Sunday we went to church with Pappy and Blake. Audrey and Blake were looking cool in pink. Then when we got back Audrey was so tired and hot, she was just chillin on the couch with Blake. It was really cute. Love you Uncle Blake.

Oh how I love my Granny and Grandpa. Granny got down on the floor and played with me. Grandpa let me play with his hat. I don't think I will ever be afraid to sit on Santa's lap since I have my own personal Santa Claus!! I love you.

My Cousins and I

Over the 4th of July weekend as you all know made a quick trip to CA. Audrey got to spend quite a bit of time with her cousins. This time she had in on the fun. She just loves them all and the attention she gets as well. We took the kids to the park where she got to go down slides and swing. She also got to ride in the back seat between all of them. She thought this was great. Hours of entertainment and whatever she wanted. Unfortuneatly I didn't get any pictures with her aunties this time around. Hopefully we will see them again soon. Miss everyone and thanks for the great time, despite the heat!! We love you.

The oldest and the youngest

While we were in CA, we got to go and visit Brent's great Uncle Pete. This is Grandma June's Brother. He is the last of the kids left on the Dunlap side of the family. What a wonderful man and sharp. He has a great memory.

Audrey just adored him. She sat next to him and jibber jabbered, smiled, and gave him kisses. When we were leaving we told her to blow him a kiss and say "bye-bye" well that she did. She said "bye-bye" for the first time. Brent and I both were there to hear it and were so shocked. Brought smiles to everyones faces.

100 posts and still counting!!

Mount Shasta. It was a beautiful 4th of July. This was taken as we were driving down the Highway on our way home. Just reminds me how lucky we are to be free!!

Anyway we are happy to be home and out of the heat. We miss our families alot, but the heat is just too much. I will hopefully get to edit the rest of the pictures tonight or tomorrow and will post when I can. We have been really busy, getting caught up with work and unpacking our goodies, luggage and adjusting to Reality again.

2 more weeks and we are off to Orlando, Florida!! Luanne and Walt Disney here we come!!
