Life

I guess it has again been a while since I updated. Not alot going on to report so to say but enough to keep one busy. So go grab a cup of coffee, tea, juice, water, whatever beverage of choice, and take a minute to read my blabbing!

Well it is February.........and we have snow. Night before last we got about 3 inches. It promptly melted the next day for the most part. Today we are getting more, so far about another 3 inches of very wet snow, enough to have a thin layer across everything. It is still coming down, we will probably get hit harder than other towns around us. We are right in that "zone" whatever the weather says is likely or not we get and usually more of! Audrey is estatic about of course. She was so ready in all her snow gear to go out and play. Guinness of course loves it as well. Two peas in a pod. Brent on the other hand, not happy at all, as this means he has to use the truck to commute and it cost quite a bit more. Im sure it will all pass soon. Me........well it is snow and it is pretty but honestly I am ready for spring. Ok enough of the weather.

Animals.... As you know we have put Tinkerbell to Ferret Heaven (not doggy heaven with Harley, according to Audrey, she is very sensitive about where the animals go). Now for Sassy, as many of you already know last year she lost an eye to Glaucoma. Well they told us at the time that sooner or later she would lose sight in her remaining eye as well, they just can't tell you when. I am sad to say that that day has arrived. She has lost complete sight in her right eye and is having a difficult time adjusting. This also mean that she needs constant supervision and assistance to do anything for now. We have also changed her over to canned food, as she is not wanting to eat dry dog food. It is very very sad to see her. Sadly she stays in her bed most of the day. Mix that with the growth on her back, I am not sure how long we can take her being in pain and such. Please pray for her. The other animals...........Guinness is doing great and is full of energy. Having a hard time with not being able to play with Sassy, but he keeps Audrey company. Jules......been spending alot of time outside. He has decided to make his territory more and this makes me unhappy. Bambi.......she is not liking this snow. When it is nice out she has been able to come out of her pen and eat around the lawn and stuff, then at dusk she goes right to her pen ready for bed. Snow mean she stays in the pen and gets hay. She has become quite vocal on snow days! Audrey........oh wait she isn't an animal! Just keeping you guys on your toes.

Audrey is doing great, keeping busy. Working on her letters, has rediscovered her babies and all the accessories she has for them. And I do mean all of them. She is being fairly good while I am going through her bazillion toys and books, she is pretty content when I tell her it is going to go to another child. I have such a loving giving little girl it is great.

Brent is most of the way healed from the accident and is continuing to move forward. He has signed on with 2 more Allstate offices, thus getting more contacts. The secretaries at the new offices are great abotu getting refferrals to him. We are hoping to see good results from that soon. He has been helping out with the Venturing crew through boy scouts and loves being involved. The truck has been overheating on him and we will have to take it in to be looked at again. Just not sure when since he can only drive that in the snow around here. Very frustrating
and it doesn't qualify for lemon law because it has been longer than 30 months.

Me........hmmmmmmmm yep still me! I have been doing more cards as you can tell than layouts. Been getting more involved with MOPS and for right now I am perfectly content with that. Of course the other ladies are loving it as well since it takes some pressure off of them. It is great to be around other moms and christian women. I have filled out an application for a substitute teacher for the headstart program. I will take it in next week. They are always needing extra help and Lord knows we can use for me to go to work also. This would mean I would also put Audrey in the headstart program. Wish me luck.

Other than that not a whole lot else going on. I have spent the last two days going through all of Audreys toys and books. We have weeded out the baby baby books and toys. I have also gone through her clothes. Mackenzie will be recieving a huge box.

This one is an old pagemaps sketch. Brent needed a birthday card for one of his clients, I told him it was $4.50 and I would like it all in quarters! He said put it on his tab! You see I have a quarter jar and he is usually pretty good about putting quarters in there........I do have to compete with Audrey to get them from time to time. He claims he has contributed great amounts to my quarter jar already! I say he should contribute more, as I use them when we go to Disney! Anyway enough jibber jabber.
