A walk at the Marina

On Saturday Audrey and I went for a stroll along the docks at the Marina. The ones down the road from where Brent and I used to rent a cabin. It was a gorgeous day and somewhat warm out. While walking along the docks, chocolate chip cookie in hand, we came across a lone star fish. I just pointed it out to Audrey and she took it upon herself to go and pick it up. It was still alive. So she threw it back into the water and then clapped. Yah Audrey! She thought that was cool. She really enjoyed the walk, and did walk the whole way by herself. Even made a few friends along the way.

Here is the view that we used to have when we lived in the cabin. I also just love the seagulls all lined up on the breakwater thingy! The other birds (not sure what they are) must be drying their feathers out. They stayed like that for quite sometime. As we were walking back up the docks Audrey was telling them "Bye, Bye birds"

She is so brave! I am afraid to touch any sea creature.

Sarah I love your old view! That is a gorgeous picture!! I also love how nonchalant Audrey looks about picking up the starfish. The one where it is off the ground really steals my heart.

She is brave - I too do not like touching sea creatures. That is so cool that you had such a great walk. I need to get the kids out more. If we could just get over these darn colds!

Speachless... I didn't think that was a real star fish, I thought maybe it was a toy you bought her or something. If she can handle sea creatures can't wait for her to come play on the farm!
