While outside yesterday Brent noticed we have a pair of Ducks in our creek. We believe they are nesting in our back yard, which is pretty cool. They are huge and beautiful. I tried to get as close as possible without scaring them away. Thanks to everyone for guessing. I think I will do more of these in the feature.

Cool pics. Now you can say you have all your ducks in a row! (hahaha - ok I know it was lame but I had to say it).
Well I was right and I was wrong. It was 2 ducks-just the female is not where I thought she was. Rick looked also and saw an eye in the same spot that I did. It is not the spot you pointed out. She has her camouflage outfit on!
Terrific. The hatchlings will be so cute. I have a pair of wood ducks that come every year and nest in one of the oak years. Once I was lucky enough to see Mom walking the babies through the field to the irrigation ditch behind the back field. Dad was flying recon. Spring is great!
