Pappy Thank you for my first "pink" rifle. I think it is really cool, can't wait for you to teach me how to use it, once I am old enough. Momma thought it was prettty neat as well and quite the "Pappy touch"

Thank you Pappy and Uncle Blake for my cool new toys. I enjoyed playing ball with Uncle Blake at the house and really enjoy pulling all of the magnets off the fridges and playing with them on the floor. Daddy often walks by the fridge and puts a new letter on for me. I love the alphabet song it sings too.
We really enjoyed our time with Pappy. We got to stop by his house on the way to Chico and spend some time with him while mom tried to feel better. I also go to meet Uncle Dan for the first time.
Nothing like a Pappy's lap to cuddle on. Audrey didn't get her morning nap before the airport so she got quite cozy on Pappy's lap. Im sure had we stayed longer she would have been fast asleep with her ox and Pappy's loving arms!!We love you Pappy very much!!

Cute pictures! Gotta love that pink rifle. Glad Audrey had such a wonderful visit.
A cozy lap, what more can a sleepy girl ask for? Did she look at the rifle and ask "how do you cock this thing?". Those were my brothers first words when he got his first play rifle (his wasn't a snazzy pink though!). I think my fondest memory of shooting the rifles was sitting with my dad on the patio and learning how to clean them. Nothing better than that quiet one on one.
She looks so cute all nuzzled up in his lap. She has cried with everyone so far, and I would imagine she will be that way until she gets old enough to understand that we are not strangers, we are her family even though we don't see her daily. It will all just take time, as long as she knows she is loved is all that matters and it surely shows that she is!
