Just a quick card I made, two lucky recipients will receive one, unless I make more between now and Friday.
This is based on a sketch at Pagemaps blog. I am happy with the way it turned out, but don't think it is my greatest.
I came across these pictures of Audrey with her Uncle Cody and instantly had inspiration. We believe her ears are from him, so of course I had to scrap these pictures, showing this. There is a verse on there from "Do your ears hang low". *Luanne* I know what you are thinking, I was very nice with the LO and hope that you approve!!
Diana gave me a whole bunch of new paper and I really found a lot that I would use. It would seem that of some that she has given me I picked the ones with blue and orange in them. Used both colors in the "EARS and Potty Training" Layouts. Thanks for looking and hope you guys enjoy seeing my masterpieces! For once in a very long time, I have to say things have been busy but pretty uneventful. If that makes any sense at all! Since most the housework is done I have had a chance to do some creating in the afternoons. Audrey is usually right along side of me creating as well. She loves to paint, stamp and write in her journals. Don't know where she gets it from really!
Update on Brent:
He is healing pretty well, but the doctor says he is trying to push it too soon. Hmmmm maybe he should listen to his wife. He has got back a good amount of range of motion, but with him trying to do so much so soon, he is risking the bone not joining back completely. He interviewed with NAES last week and is hoping to hear back from them by the end of this week. His motorcycle is done with the repairs today! Darn he is in Bothell at some training until Thursday. In case you haven't noticed this makes me happy. He says he is ready to get back on it, but I however am not ready for him to. Other than that he is doing pretty good.
Audrey:
Yes she is 3 and full of energy. She has been fighting back a little bit of a cold this last week. Doesn't really slow her down, just makes her grumpy. I am hoping she is getting past the cold now. Yesterday while I ran some errands, she got to spend the morning with her daddy and loved it. They went to breakfast together, to the bank and then she helped him blow the leaves off the driveway. She loves to walk up the driveway and so doing so with Daddy is a bonus. Lately she really has been into water color painting, and talking on the phone. We will see what next week brings. She is really hoping it will bring her Granny and Grandpa to come and visit for Thanksgiving.
Me:
I finally got in to get my hair trimmed. It feels great, nothing like a wash and cut. Just makes you feel like new when you walk out. Last Saturday I got to go all by myself (rare) with Diana to the Creating Keepsakes Convention Vendor Faire (Scrapbooking) in Bellevue. It was awesome. So many great products out there to see and get to demo alot of the new products. I could of shopped for hours if I had an endless budget, but I was good and spent very little. Had they had a cuttlebug their I would have purchased it, but they didn't. **Hint, Hint** Santa Claus!! With the holidays coming up I am happy to say that things have slowed down a little as far as the chaos we have endured the last few months. Thus, making me a little less stressed. I have been asked by the MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) coordinators if I would be willing to decorate one of the tables at our next meeting for Christmas........I was very honored to be asked and of course accepted. Any ideas would be appreciated. I was also asked to attend their Christmas party for the steering coordinators, which is another honor. My hopes are that I will continue to be more involved and that someday I can become a Discussion Group leader. Other than that not a whole lot going on. Hope next week my parents will be able to come for Thanksgiving. It really is a blessing to have them here for a holiday. Sorry sisters, it may sound selfish but I love having them to myself for Thanksgiving!! Dad really enjoys coming up here and especially if he gets to go diving and if we don't have any chores for him to do! Mom is a great help, she and Audrey love to cook in the kitchen and do dishes. It is wonderful. I am really hoping they get to come up and visit. I also have heard wind that maybe one nephew will get to come along. What a blessing this Thanksgiving will be.
I plan to do another post before then............let's see if I do. Love to all.

Love your masterpieces! Glad to hear Brent is getting alopng better-sorry to hear he is pushing himself too hard! I can relate. It is brutal not being able to do it all! Since I am commenting a little late on this, I know your parents and a nephew came for Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a wonderful visit and a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I love my Thanksgiving card! Yes, Auntie A2 was one the lucky ones to receive this great card. I love the detail down to the smudged edging of brown. You have a great eye for detail and finish work!
Audrey June, thank you for your letter. I love every work you wrote. When I see your parents I know that they will be able to translate for me.
Yes, Uncle Cody and Audry's eyes do look very much alike. That must be why they are so simpatico. Also Uncle Cody will do whatever she asks.
And now for the potty training sheet. You know that she will not appreciate that one until she a child of her own, however, I do detect a strong similarity between Audrey June and her Daddy. He also must have a minimum of two reading materials with him. Let's not even get into the games, videos and other amusements that in the Man's Bathroom. More Power!
Keep up the great postings Sarah. I love finding each new one.
