Freedom!

What a wonderful weekend. So many great things are happening all ready and more are to come!!

So we had quite the eventful weekend:

Friday: Brent's last day at a JOB! He didn't have to go in until 1130 so we got to spend all morning with him and then Audrey and I dropped him off at work. They were having a party for him and one other guy that was retiring. Then JD hired a limo and came to pick him up at 2. They went out to eat and had a few drinks. I then played Taxi came and picked them up took JD and Heather (a recruit of JD's) to the ferry docks. We stopped on our way home to visit Carl Jantz whom has cancer and was in the hospital recieving Kemo treatments. It was nice to go visit with him, as we had not seen him in a while. Please keep Carl in your prayers.
Also on Friday, Brent's new laptop had arrived so he was up quite late trying to get used to it. He bought a Macbook Pro. Just a bit different from a regular pc.

Saturday: It was an interesting morning as it was not sure if there was going to be rain or sunshine. It turned out to be an ok weather day. We did our errands and such around town and then just sort of bummed around the house in the afternoon. I did a little scrap booking while Audrey played. Brent had an early afternoon appt and I got ready for his party. Dropped Audrey off with Nikki and AnneMaries kids. Off I went. We had a party at Silverdale Yacht Club Broiler (highly recommend it to eat at and have parties). It started at 7 and we had originally planned for 20-25 people to show and got about 11.
It was a great party. We had tons of delicious food and good company. As a Thank you to JD and Ana we got JD a new watch he has been wanting and I bought Ana a nice bouquet of flowers. We are so greatful for what they have done and changing our lives.

Later on in the evening Brent was thanking every one and said, " This all would not be possible without the support and love of my wife." Made me really feel good and loved. This is my Thank you gift from him:
I couldn't be more proud of Brent and what he has chosen to do. Together we are going to help other families like us do great things. Thank you to all who were able to make it on Saturday, you mean alot to us and we are so Thankful to have you all in our lives.

Sunday: We got up and made it to the 8 am church service ( more traditional service) and Audrey was pretty good throughout the service. They do not have children's church until the 930 service, so we are going to slowly but surely get Audrey to be Awesome during the 8 service.

While I went to get us some Chai, Brent and Audrey walked the docks in Poulsbo and looked at all the boats. It was really cute to watch the two of them. Lately it seems I am just dust on the furniture and Daddy is the KING. Kind of nice to have the break, but sad at the same time. I can't even bring her a cup of water, has to be from Daddy. He gets to dress her, change her and put her in the car, and gets all the kisses. It is good for the two of them though. I know she still loves me, so Im not sweating it too much.

We stopped in at the Bayside Broiler in Poulsbo to have brunch, only to have a horrible experience and wait 1 hr 15 min for bad food with hair in it. We ended up not paying for the meal and left. Not letting that stop our wonderful day...........................

Long story short after stopping in at a local RV dealer we got in contact with a gentleman and his wife selling their 2002 Nomad toy hauler. Right price, the right amount of extras (less Brent will feel the need to add), great people, no haggling= We Bought the toy hauler!! Sorry don't have any pictures at this time. We were not anticipating going anywhere after church and ended up going 1 hr away to look at it, drool, visit and purchase. So I did not have my camera with me. We will go on Tuesday and get it. We also needed to give the McFadden's time to clean it out. When I get pictures I will write more about the specs and such.

All in all is was a teriffic weekend and we couldn't have asked for better things to come our way. We are truly excited about our next Journey/adventure in our lives and can't wait to share it will everyone! Loves to all.

Here here. I agree with Danica with one added thought. How about extra kudos to Brent for picking the perfect wife to share this all with. Glad things are working out so splendidly. Miss you, hope to see you and that new trailer down this way.
