This is one of my favorite pictures so far. Brent is reading Audrey her first book. "The Cat in The Hat, Comes Back" He was so expressive while reading it to her. She and the cat listened ever so intently. I thought it was quite funny and cute that the cat was listening to Brent read to Audrey.

The cat is also fascinated by Audrey moving her arms around and kicking and the noises she makes. He probably thinks she is some sort of toy. Until she cries. Then he comes and meows at my feet.

Recently Brent's mother "Grandma K" sent us a package with some of Brent's books from when he was a child. She also sent Audrey new Clifford books.

Reading to kids is so important. We love to read to Audrey. Hopefully she is have a great vocabulary and many other things from us reading to her at such a young age.
